You can apply online through the official GOV.UK website. You must be at least 17 years and you’ll need to provide your identity details and pay a small fee. Your licence usually arrives within a week.
No—you don’t need to have passed your theory test to start driving lessons in the UK. You must pass the theory test before you can book your practical driving test. Learning the theory alongside lessons can actually help you progress faster, since you’ll understand road rules and hazards better
Please bring your provisional driving license (must be valid and in date). Glasses or contact lenses if you need them for driving. Comfortable footwear (avoid heavy boots or heels). We’ll take care of the rest!
In the UK, you can generally start taking driving lessons when you are 17 years old. However, if you receive the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), you can start lessons at 16.
